Posters love light… just not that much light. Keep it out of direct sunlight unless you’re into that washed-out, vintage look.

A gentle wipe with a dry, soft cloth once in a while is enough. No, your mop does not qualify. And please… don’t use cleaning spray. It’s paper, not your kitchen counter.

Moving? Roll it loosely and stick it in a cardboard tube. Don’t fold it. Folds are forever, just like bad tattoos.

Snap a quick photo and email it to me (hello@distinctroom.com) within 30 days. I will sort it out with a free replacement (or a refund if you’d rather). Easy.
🚚 WHAT IF MY ORDER NEVER SHOWS UP?
If your package takes a holiday and gets lost in transit, I will send you a new one. No extra cost, no stress.
💸 WHEN WILL I GET MY MONEY BACK?
Once your return lands back with me (or you show us proof it’s on the way), I will refund you to your original payment method. Usually within 14 days, but often faster.

Not directly. Since everything is printed on demand, the quickest way is: return your poster → get a refund → place a shiny new order.

Nope! All designs are my own creations, not customer-customized. That means they are returnable under EU law. If we ever launch personalized prints, those would be non-returnable (but we’ll make that super clear).

Hoping has excellent public relations.
It sounds noble, looks beautiful in quotes, and has somehow convinced everyone that waiting is a virtue. It asks for patience, faith, good timing, and preferably a sign from the universe dramatic enough to remove all personal responsibility.
Hope is comforting because it lets the future do the heavy lifting. One day, things will change. One day, the timing will be right. One day, everything will finally make sense.
Very efficient. Especially for something that has not actually done anything yet. If you're part of the marketing team in your company, you know what I'm talking about. You're selling the future, something that doesn't exist yet.

Doing makes it real
Doing has terrible public relations.
It is rarely elegant, never arrives fully prepared, and has absolutely no interest in protecting your self-image. It asks you to begin before you feel ready, make mistakes in public, and discover that the plan you spent three weeks perfecting survives roughly six minutes of reality.
Doing is inconvenient. It ruins excuses, exposes weak ideas, and turns “someday” into a date that can actually disappoint you.
But doing is also where everything real begins. Hope can point toward a better future, but it cannot build one. Ideas can look impressive in your head, but they remain decoration until your hands get involved.
Doing may be messy, badly timed, and terrible at selling itself.
But it's going to change your life.
