My poster arrived damaged. What now?

Snap a quick photo and email it to me (hello@distinctroom.com) within 30 days. I will sort it out with a free replacement (or a refund if you’d rather). Easy.

What if my order never shows up?

If your package takes a holiday and gets lost in transit, I will send you a new one. No extra cost, no stress.

When will I get my money back?

Once your return lands back with me (or you show us proof it’s on the way), I will refund you to your original payment method. Usually within 14 days, but often faster.

Can I swap for another design instead?

Not directly. Since everything is printed on demand, the quickest way is: return your poster → get a refund → place a shiny new order.

Are your posters considered personalized?

Nope! All designs are my own creations, not customer-customized. That means they are returnable under EU law. If we ever launch personalized prints, those would be non-returnable (but we’ll make that super clear).

Okay, I admit, I’ve gone a bit bananas on this one. I know. But I can’t help it, I love text that makes you work a little. You have to earn it. Sometimes you’ve got to squint, tilt your head, step closer, and actually try to understand. Isn’t that what passion is, anyway?

So yeah, the lines are weird, the spacing is chaotic, but if you stare long enough, it starts making sense. It’s all connected, like everything else. So yeah... this one’s... a lot. It looks like someone placed a Tetris block in a room and told them to fight for dominance. It’s chaotic, confusing, borderline illegible... and I adore it. You’re not supposed to read it instantly; you’re supposed to work for it. Like, squint a little. Question your eyesight. Maybe even tilt your head and pretend you’re decoding a sacred text.

Every line feels like it’s trying to escape the grid, every word pushing for freedom but still politely staying inside its box. It’s messy but disciplined, like passion itself: loud, dramatic, and a little self-destructive, but god, it means well. You might not get it at first glance, and that’s fine... some things aren’t meant for instant gratification.

Because underneath all the confusion, all those chunky little letters and impossible-to-follow shapes, there’s something burning. Passion. My one and only pleasure. The whole thing’s basically whispering, “If you really care, you’ll stay long enough to understand me.”
